Free Yarn Giveaway Week 5

Comments for this giveaway are now closed.

Another week has gone by already?  I always feel like the month of December goes in fast forward (and then really slow motion in January), but I digress.  It’s time for another free yarn giveaway!

Free Yarn Giveaway

In honor of my Crochet Gifts for Men post this week, I have a few skeins of yarn that are appropriate for both men and women!

On the top are two skeins of Caron’s Simply Soft Paints, and if you’ve never encountered these before, they are very soft.  There are 400 yards total here, and the color is “Sticks and Stones”.

Next up are two skeins of Lamb’s Pride Worsted (85% wool, 15% mohair).  This is a soft, single-ply yarn which is spun and dyed by the Brown Sheep Company in Nebraska.  The colors are Roasted Coffee (dyelot 059) and Blue Boy (dye lot 070).

Finally, here is some Hemp Yarn.  This isn’t like the hemp you buy at the craft stores to make necklaces from; it is blended with wool which actually makes it quite soft (55% hemp and 45% wool).  The color is “Natural” and is from dyelot 2003A.
